For my Grandma who loves cats!

My grandmother loves cats, I usually think of her when I see them. I wanted to send her a card since I have not seen her in a while, I also have some cute pictures of the boys for her. I saw a cat similar to this made by Heather Summers, I changed some things to make it my own. The card is a 4" x 4" and I used the 1 1/4" square punch to make a quilt like pattern. I never used to decorate the insides of my cards and now I don't feel like they are complete unless I do.
Thanks for stopping by and have a purrfect day!

Honey Bee's!

This set was a must have for me, I ordered it right away when it came out! I made this card for a class, it is quite simple to put together. I got the idea from a swap I received a while ago, sorry I don't remember who's it was. I just love those honey bee's!

To make this card you will need:
C/S-Soft Suede, Crushed Curry and Whisper White (Very Vanilla looks better)
Ink-Soft Suede ink pad and marker and Crushed Curry marker
Stamp Sets-Just Buzzin' By
Accessories-1"and 1 1/4" circle punches

Thanks for stopping by and have a honey of a day!

Hello Grandma!

I made this little card for my grandma. I haven't seen her in a while and thought I would send her a couple pictures of the boys. Someone was getting rid of some of their swaps so I picked through them and came across this idea. I completely changed all the colors, stamps and accessories to suit my boys. This card is made by altering an envelope, I think these would make great invitations. I apologize, I did not write down the measurements as I made it so if you want them then please send me a message and I will post instructions.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Medallion

I made a card basically the same a while back but thought I would show this one anyway. The two differences are that the old one was a 5 x 5" card and this one is a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4" card and the saying and how I put it on, I used punches for the old one. I really do like this card and this is such a beautiful stamp to work with.

Guest Stamper Sherri Mills

I recently got together with my stamping group for a shoebox swap and this was the card that Sherri Mills made for us. I think this card would be great for a young boy's birthday, Craig loved it when I showed it to him and kept asking me to see it again. It is made using all SU punches and we free handed the tree.

Crazy for cupcakes!

I designed this card for a card class I did last week, I wanted to show the Big Shot and I wanted everyone to have time to run their own Top Notes through. Crazy for Cupcakes is probably my favorite set to use for birthday cards. Inside I used the stamp 'hope you have the sweetest day.'

Here's what you need to make this card:
Card stock-Sahara Sand, Perfect Plum, Certainly Celery and Whisper White
Ink-Perfect Plum, SU markers
Stamp Sets-Crazy for Cupcakes
Accessories-Top Note Die, Scallop Circle punch, 1 3/8" circle punch, 1" punch, dazzling Diamonds and silver brads

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Potty Time!

I have been trying to make a potty chart and prize container for Craig for some time now and last night I finally got it done. I am looking forward for him to be potty trained and out of diapers. About five minutes after I took this picture he went into the bathroom all by himself, told his brother to 'GET,' shut the door and peed on the potty! Yeah! I went to see if he needed any help and he kicked me out. This was only the second time he has done this and I am so excited! Back to the chart, I decided to make it on 12 x 12 c/s so that it can go into his scrapbook once he is done with it. The potty and the little toilet paper rolls are made using SU punches. The designer paper is retired, I think it was Jersey Shore? Attached to the prize jar is a little bag of stars for him to stick into the circles whenever he successfully uses the potty, once he gets to 5 (the green circle) he gets a prize. Right now the jar is full of hockey cards because he is obsessed with the sport. My inspiration for the punched potty was from Sophia's post on Andrea Walford's blog, I didn't have the punches she used so I made do with what I have.

I Heart Hearts!

When I first saw the I heart Hearts set I thought it was pretty but decided not to get it because I didn't think I would use it very much. As I blog surfed I saw so many gorgeous cards with it and decided it was a must have. This is the first card I decided to create with it. My inspiration for this card was from Niki Toll's birthday thank you cards for her daughter.

Supplies to make this card:
C/S-Chocolate Chip, Melon Mambo and Very Vanilla
Ink-Chocolate Chip and Melon Mambo
Stamps-I hearts Hearts and Well Scripted
Accessories-Full Heart Punch, Heart to Heart punch, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Melon Mambo polka dotted ribbon and the textured impressions polka dot embossing folder

No pictures

Sorry I have not posted anything. My son decided to play on the computer and he messed with my photo program and now I can't see the pictures. They are these tiny little boxes, to small for my eyes to see. I am excited that I finally made the time to camera shop today. I bought the same one that I had only the newest version of it. I told my husband I would read the manual this time so maybe I will be able to take better pictures.
Thanks for stopping by and hopefully I will figure out which button to click to put my pics back to normal!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's day!
I hope you are having a nice day with all your loved ones.

Jeff's card from me. I wanted to make him a card that was simple and manly. I also decorated the inside but I wrote in it before I thought to take a picture of it.

I showed this card the other day, it is for my oldest son Craig.

This is Ryan's card. It is hard to see but is says I stink your sweet, how cute is that. I made the skunk using various SU punches. The inside of the card has a few more hearts and the stamp that says love you much.

I wanted the boys to make a Valentine's card for their dad. Ryan is still a little young to help but Craig got right in to it. I am amazed at how fast he picks up on stuff, he has stamped with me few times now and understands the process. Believe it or not he stamped the happy valentine's day almost dead center of the card, I couldn't believe it, I am sure it was a coincidence. He wrote in daddy with a little help from me. I had some left over hearts from other projects and we punched out more hearts and then I put some adhesive on the back and he stuck them all over the front.

Robot Valentine's!

Craig's preschool class had a Valentine's party on Thursday, I was sad that he had to miss it, it was his first school party. I thought these Love Bots Valentine's boxes were so cute, I filled them with red and white smarties and a chocolate heart. They were so easy to assemble, I had them all put together in about 15 minutes. I should have taken a picture of the back, they say 'to my human friend,' I also had Craig sign his name with a little help from me.

Happy Birthday Grandma!

I have never gone this long without posting something! I will hopefully be back posting everyday.
It was my grandmother's birthday last week and this was the card that I made for her. I thought I would make a spring looking card since I wish it was spring already! I was excited to use my new Scallop trim border and Scallop Trim Corner punches. The happy birthday is from the Well Scripted stamp set and the vines are from the Vintage Vogue stamp set in the Occasions mini. I was hesitant on getting the clear mount stamps so I put it off a little, I have used them a few times now and love them. I almost always use my Stamp-a-ma-jig because I like everything to be just right and now I can get away with out it for a lot of my stamping. I also sprinkled some dazzling diamonds onto the butterfly to give it a little shine.

Get Whale Soon!

Some more Pun Fun!
This card is basically the same as the Hip-hippo-ray card I made mid January, I changed the Old Olive to Bashful Blue and used the Get whale soon! stamp. I have to remember to take pictures of the inside of the card, I stamped thinking of you on a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I have been using my old camera so sorry the pictures aren't that great, I am hopefully going to go get a new one tomorrow.

Bee Mine!

I was very excited to get a box of goodies today! I love getting new stuff and can't wait to try it all out!

I came up with this bee using SU punches a while ago now and thought it would be perfect for a Valentine's card. I was excited to use the new Scallop Trim Border punch from the Sale-a-bration catalogue, I really do love using punches. I forgot to take a picture of the inside of the card. I used my new clear mount stamps and put Love you much from the Well Scripted set in the Occasions mini in the inside.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

I'm nuts about you!

Don't you think the Real Red and Tempting Turquoise look great together? This is such a quick, clean and simple layout to use. I am hoping that I will be able to take more pictures of my projects, I broke my camera the other day :( I have no idea how, I went to take a picture and the digital screen was dark with cracks in it. It does still take pictures it is just hard to take good ones, almost all of them come out blurry and I can't see the settings to change anything. I guess I am going to have to go camera shopping this week.
