Wedding

I originally designed the pillow box with the flower on it and thought it would make a great wedding favor so I designed a your invited and thank you card to match. I am really happy with how they turned out. They are clean and simple and it really wouldn't be to difficult to make a large quantity. These flowers are made using the circle scallop punch with a brad in the centre. All you have to do is crumple your paper before or after you punch out the scallops, attach the brad in the centre and pull the scallops toward the brad to make it pop up. I then used my 2-way glue around each layer and dipped it into dazzling diamonds to give it a little sparkle!

Have a great day!

Craig's Birthday Thank You's!

I can't believe how late I am getting these thank you cards out, Craig's birthday was in the beginning of August. In my defense I only had time to stamp maybe 3 times this entire summer. I am slowly gaining back some free time to do the things I enjoy.

I used the Simple Birthday Thank You stamp and stamped the top onto Brilliant Blue DSP and the bottom on Sahara Sand Card Stock. It really doesn't look like Sahara Sand in this photo, I am going to have to play with my camera settings, my pictures always have a yellowish tinge to them??? The cherry was stamped on Real Red and then I covered it with Crystal effects. I used Green Galore for the sprinkles and covered the 1/4" circles with sparkles. Craig and I did the writing together, his cute writing just made these thank you cards perfect! The back of the card is just big enough to fit the big wallet sized photos of him.

Thanks for visiting my blog and have a great day!
