12 x 12 Cupcake Page

These are some layouts I did for my March scrapbook club. I did this colour combination for boys and then I did a Pink Pirouette and Concord Crush combination for girls. I will take a picture of the girls layout for you to see. I am going to have to get Ryan's birthday pictures printed to finish off these pages. I had a lot of fun creating this page, I got to use my cupcake punch for the first time!

Have a great day!

Baby favors

How cute are these? I saw favors like this somewhere on the internet and thought I would make some for the baby show. They turned out so cute and are super simple. You could put anything inside of them, I was hoping to find some Easter colored Reeses cups or mini chocolate bars but didn't come across any yet. These favors would be really cute for a wedding.

To make these favors:

Stamps - Baby Bundle
Card Stock - Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery, Pink Pirouette and Whisper White
Ink/Markers - Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze, River Rock and StazOn Black
Big Shot - Two Tags and Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder
Punches - Scallop Circle, 1 3/8" Circle and 1 1/4" Circle
Ribbon, Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery and Marina Mist 1/4 Grosgrain

Have a great day!

Baby Elephant

This is not a stamp that I would normally buy but since I am doing the baby show and since it was a Sale-a-bration I chose to get it. I think these elephants are so cute and I am pretty sure I will use them for future projects. I also made a boy version of this card using Bashful Blue.

To make this card:

Stamps - Baby Steps
Card Stock - Whisper White and Pink Pirouette
Ink/Markers - Pink Pirouette and Certainly Celery
Ribbon - 1/4" Pretty in Pink Grosgrain

Have a great day!

B is for Baby!

I know I promised some scrapbook pages but my pictures did not turn out so I will take some new ones hopefully today.
I saw a card similar to this one somewhere, I just can't remember. I really should write down names as I see cards I like so that I can credit the proper person. It doesn't help that I like to look at about 30 blogs and Splitcoast regularly! I like how the Fox and Friends set can be used for all ages, it is so cute and I look forward to scrapbooking with it once the weather gets nicer and we start going to the zoo. I did not have any ribbon that I liked to put across the card so I chose to use a piece of matching card stock to keep it simple.

To make this card:

Stamps - Fox and Friends and Simple Serif
Card Stock - Sahara Sand and Whisper White
Ink - Sahara Sand and Pretty in Pink

Have a great day!

Birthday Cake!

Jeff's sister celebrated her birthday last week and this was the card that I made for her. When ever my niece and I do crafts she always tells me that her mom likes blue so I went with blue. I love how clean this card looks, I think I will use this template again.

To make this card:

Stamps - Slice of Life (Hostess level 1 in current mini)
Card Stock - Marina Mist and Whisper White
Ink/Markers - StazOn Black, Marina Mist, Perfect Plum and Daffodil Delight
-(inside card) Pink Pirouette and Baja Breeze
Ribbon - 5/8" Grosgrain Marina Mist

Baby Bear!

I thought this Bear Hugs stamp set was really cute but I couldn't see myself using it very often so when I saw that it was a Sale-a-bration set I got it. I really like all the Build a Bear collection. I am excited to see if there is something new in the next catalogue.

To make this card:

Stamps - Bear Hugs
Ink/Markers - Marina Mist, StazOn Black, Crumb Cake, River Rock Certainly Celery and So Saffron
Card Stock - Marina Mist, Certainly Celery and Whisper White
Ribbon - 5/8" Grosgrain Marina Mist

Teddy

When Baja Breeze first came out as an In Colour 2 years ago I was not very fond of it but now I find myself using it all the time. Todays card is just cute and simple, I think that this bear is adorable. I might have to scrapbook some extra baby pages just so that I can use it.

To make this card:

Stamps - Teddy and Train
Ink/Markers - StazOn Black, Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake and River Rock
Card Stock - Baja Breeze and Whisper White
Other - Polka Dot Embossing Folder

Have a great day!

Baby Shower Invites

I have seen cards made this way all over the internet lately so I thought I would give them a try. Mine is not a card that opens, it is only a card front. I thought they would make cute shower invitations and they would not take long to reproduce several of them. They would also be really cute to add to a scrapbook page!

To Make this Invitation:

Stamps - Baby Bundle
Ink/Markers - StazOn Black, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie
Punches - Scallop Circle, 1 1/4" Circle and 3/4" CIrcle.

Have a great day!

Baby Steps

I don't use gray to often but love this color combination. How cute would this be to give to someone who just had had a little baby boy! These would also be easy to make into invitations or thank you cards and would not take long to make several. I was originally going to use Certainly Celery instead of Marina Mist but didn't like it with the Basic Gray. I hope you don't mind all the baby stuff, I will change it up with some scrapbook pages in a few days!

To make this card:

Stamps - Baby Steps
Ink/Markers - Basic Gray and Certainly Celery
Card Stock - Basic Gray and Marina Mist
Other - Polka Dot Embossing Folder and 5/8" Marina MIst Grosgrain Ribbon

Have a great Day!

Baby Bundle!

I am having fun making all these baby cads. I think the little baby head peeking out of the stroller is so cute. I made several of these cards using different colours.

To make this card:

Stamps - Baby Bundle and Short and Sweet
Ink/Markers - StazOn Black, Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery and Blushing Bride
Punches - Scallop Edge
Other - Pretty in PInk 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon

Have a great Day!

Baby stuff!

I will be posting lots and lots of baby projects, I am attending a baby show at the end of the month so that is pretty much all I have been making. I don't use wheels very often but I really like this one. I think I like it because there is so much to colour in so you can really change it up to use it as the focal point of your project rather than the background. I am pretty sure I will purchase more wheels now that I have gotten good at using them, I found that I just waisted paper before.

To make this card:

Stamps - Baby Tees wheel and Sweetness Unlimited
Ink/Markers - StazOn Black, Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Bashful Blue, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake and Real Red
Paper - Chocolate CHip, Crumb Cake and Whisper White
Punches - Designer Label
Other - Polka Dot Embossing Folder

Have a great day!

Trucking!

This month is 2 years since this picture was taken, where does time go? I still remember this day, he kept sliding out of the dump box. When ever we go back to the photo studio he looks so big beside this truck, he definitely does not fit in the dump box anymore.
I stamped the background using the truck stamp and VersaMark. I always put Crystal Effects on the windows of the truck stamp, it finishes it off nicely.

Have a great day!

Valentine's Page

I wanted to make a Valentine's scrapbook page that featured the new Lots of Love Letter Press plate and the Red Glimmer Paper. I am hoping to see more of the Glimmer paper in different colors in the Summer Mini. I recently bought the crimper so I had to use it somewhere on the page so I crimped the card stock and then punched the hearts.
To make this Page:
Ink - Real Red Craft
Card Stock - Basic Gray, Whisper White and Real Red
DSP - Love Impressions
Punches - Full Heart and Heart
Ribbon - Basic Gray 5/8" Satin Ribbon
Letter Press - Lots of Love
Other - Red Glimmer Paper and Crimper
Thanks for stopping by!

Stylish Blogger Award

I received a message from a fellow stamper who passed on the Stylish Blogger Award to me! Thanks' Charlene! You can visit Charlene Here. It is excited to be chosen as someone's favorite!

Part of the way this award works is that after receiving it, I will do the following:

1) Thank the person who gave this award to me and link it back to their blog
2) Share 8 things about myself
3) Pass this award to 8 other individuals that I have recently discovered
4) Leave a comment on their blogs so that they can pass along the recognition!

8 Things about me:

1) I am a mom to two amazing little boys.
2) I graduated school to be an accountant.
3) I love Tupperware almost as much as stamping, stamping is pretty hard to beat!
4) I joined the Canadian Forces Reserves in 2001 and my trade is Combat Engineer. My favorite part of my trade was operating heavy equipment such as backhoes and dump trucks.
5) I love spending time with my family and going on small trips with them wether it be for the day or maybe the weekend.
6) I like to do more types of crafts other then paper crafting. I also enjoy painting different things like ceramics and glass ornaments. My husband is a woodworker so he also makes different decorations for me to paint. It is so hard to find time to do it all.
7) I just started my first scrapbook club in January and am so excited about sharing all my ideas.
8) I take so many pictures I don't know how I will ever scrapbook all of them!

Valentine Robots

Aren't these robots the cutest, I cased them from Shelby Fawver. I am waiting a reply to see if she has a blog for me to link. I made this scrapbook page for my monthly club, they all seemed to like it! I chose a Valentine's theme for mine but it could be used for anything. I am sure I will be making these robots again. I laughed the other day when I was going through my current Catalogue and realized that these robots are copied from the Best Bots Forever stamp set.

To make these robots you need:
Circle Robot - Circles # 2 die (largest circle), Jewelry Tag, Heart to heart, circle form Itty Bitty Shapes and Word Window Punches
Square Robot - I cut a square the size I wanted, Jewelry Tag, circle from Itty Bitty Shapes and Word Window Punches
Half Oval Robot - Frame Oval Scallop (Cut a little more than half way) Jewelry Tac, circle from Itty Bitty Shapes, and Word Window Punches.

I used the Basic Blank and Basic Gray Markers to draw the lines and sponge the edges.

Have a great day!
