SAB DSP 12 x 12

I wanted to use the Sale-a-bration Every Day Enchantment DSP on a scrapbook page. This paper is way outside my box, I rarely ever use this style. I am not overly happy with how they turned out but I decided to share them anyway because I do like the layout.

I used the co-ordinating stamp set Fresh Vinatge (SAB) on the background paper and as an accent on the page. I wanted a little color in the flowers so I decided to stamp the image in Sahara Sand and then color in the small flowers using Calypso Coral.

To make these pages:

Stamps - Fresh Vintage(SAB) and Loving Thoughts
Ink - Sahara Sand, Lucky Limeade and Calypso Coral

C/S - Lucky Limeade, Calypso Coral, Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla

DSP - Everyday Enchantment (SAB)

Punches - Large Oval

Die Cutting - Cirlce

Other -1/8" Organza Ribbon (SAB)

Have a great day!

Happy Holidays 12 x 12

I am so happy with how these pages turned out. I saw several different projects that had stockings hung across and this is what I came up with.

I embossed the stocking using the Snow Burst Textured Impressions Folder. I found I liked the way the stockings looked if I embossed the card stock and then punched them out. The snowflakes are covered with Dazzling Diamonds to make them Glimmer.

I used Blender Pens and the Water Color Crayons to give the snowman a softer look.

To make these pages:

Stamps - Snow Much Fun and Pennant Parade

Ink - Pear Pizzaz, Cherry Riding Hood Red and Chocolate Chip

C/S - Baja Breeze, Real Red, Pear Pizzaz, Island Indigo and Whisper White

Punches - Pennants Builder, Stocking Builder and Snowflake

Die Cutting - Snow Burst Textured Impressions Folder and Timeless Type
Other - Watercolor Crayons, Blender Pens, Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine, Silver Brad's, Tombo, Dimensionals and Dazzling Diamonds

Have a great day!

Valentines

I wanted the boys to have handmade invitations, of course, so we came up with these cookie Valentines. I saw similar ones in my Stampin' Success Magazine (Demonstrators only). We used the recipes that come with the Cookie Press, they turned out really good! I did use store bought icing, mine just would not turn out.

The cookie presses from Stampin' Up! are quite easy to use once you figure them out. I found it easier with the heart print if I put flour on the rubber before I stamped each cookie. For those of you who have not yet seen these, the Heart actually has quite a bit of detail under that icing.

I uesd the Paper Doily Sizzlet to create the doily for the cookie to sit on, this was a little time consuming since we made about 40 of them.

We personalized the Valentines on the back side, the boys were tired of writing their names by the end!

To make these Valentines:

Stamps - Teeny Tiny Wishes and Candy Conversations

Ink - Real Red

C/S - Real Red, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White and DSP I got on the clearance rack

Punches - Word Window, Decorative Label and Heart

Dies - Paper Doily Sizzlet

Other - Clear Envelopes, Heat Shaped Cookie Press and sponges

Have a great day!

Valentines Scrapbook Layout

I love the working with the Scented Embossing Powder, it just smells so yummy! It kind of reminds me of the Fun Dip Candy packages, I think that is what they are called. It is hard to see but I spritzed the White with the Blushing Bride Spritzer, I find it a little difficult to spritz it exactly how I want it, this was the first spritz that turned out exactly how I wanted it. I find I end up with too much and it looks more like an accidental splatter.

Material used:

Stamps - Candy Conversation. Wheels - I{Love}Love. Ink - Real Red, VersaMark. C/S - Real Red, Whisper White ans Pink Pirouette. Dies - Fashionable Hearts Embosslit and Scallop Envelope. Punches -I Heart Hearts, Heart, Scallop Border Trim, Small Heart and Modern Label. Ribbon - 1/4" Real Red and Pink Pirouette Grosgrain Ribbon. Accessories - Real Red Glimmer Paper, Silver Brads, Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine, Blushing Bride Spritzer, Heat Tool and Cherry Scented Embossing Powder.

Have a great day!

Valentine Love Note

I ordered the Scented Embossing Powder and it smells so good while you use it. The Scented powder is clear so it brings out the color of your paper and gives it a nice glossy look. I find myself doing a lot of heat embossing lately.

Materials used:

Stamps - Candy Conversations. Wheels - I{Love}Love. Ink - Real Red and VersaMark. C/S - Real Red, Whisper White and Pink Pirouette. Punches - Scallop Trim Border. Dies - Scallop Envelope. Ribbon - 1 1/4" Real Red and Pink Pirouette Grosgrain. Accessories - Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine, Heat Gun and Melon Embossing Powder.

Valentines Day Card

I wanted to try out a card using the New Blushing Bride Smootch Spritzer, I found mine to come out a little more red looking. If you want less of a splatter then make sure you hold your spritzer bottle further from your image. I took one of my Stampin' Up! boxes, placed my image in it and then spritz my projects.

Materials used:

Stamps - Candy Conversations. Ink - Real Red. C/S - Real Red, Whisper White ans Pink Pirouette. Punch - Small Heart. Ribbon - 5/8" Real Red Satin. Dies - Fashionable Hearts Embosslit. Accessories - Blushing Bride Smooch Spritzer.

Have a great day!
