Spooky Spider Jar!

I actually bought this Decor Elements Spooky Spider last year and never got around to doing anything with it. I came across it a couple weeks ago when I was cleaning my craft room and thought it would go great on this huge jar I had sitting in my storage room. It was so easy to put on and the kids loved it, maybe they just loved the suckers we filled it with after!

Have a great Day!

Chocolate Mummies!

I got one of these little chocolate bar holders as a swap at Regionals in Cincinnati last fall. Aren't they the cutest.

To make these Mummies you take a 4" x 3" Piece of Very Vanilla and stamp the Inspired by Nature grass on it in Chocolate Chip of course! Put some sticky strip along the edge of one side, wrap it around your mini chocolate bar and stick together. (I found it easier to wrap it around your chocolate bar so that it would be tight enough that it won't fall out.) Sponge the edges and sides to rough it up. Put your googley eyes on and stamp whatever Halloween stamp you have onto Very Vanilla in Elegant Eggplant. Sponge the sides and stick onto the front of your mummy.

Owl Treat Bag

I don't remember where I first saw these owls, maybe on splitcoast? I made a few last year and they were so quick and cute that I thought they would make great Halloween gifts for Craig's preschool teacher and Ryan's Tiny Toes teacher.

To make these owls I used the Big Shot Top Note, the Scallop Circle, 5-Petal Flower, 1 3/4" Circle, 1 1/4" Circle and the 1/2" Circle Punches. The bags are also Stampin' Up!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Big Shot Turkey!

Craig's show and share this week for preschool was the letter T and the theme was Thanksgiving so we decided to make a turkey. Craig loves to do crafts with me and he was so proud of himself.

I got this idea from Heather Summer's blog, I saw her do one of these last fall using the punches. I wanted to make it bigger so it was easier for Craig to stick it together so we used the Big Shot Dies along with a few different punches.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Love this card!

A fellow demonstrator, Jessie, made this card for a swap and now I have to get this stamp set. I have been eying it up for a while now and I think this card sealed the deal for me.
Didn't she do a fantastic job?

Just Believe!

Just Believe was a stamp set that was a must have as soon as I saw it in the new catalogue. I made this card for a shoebox swap with my fellow demonstrators.
As I have said before Elegant Eggplant and Old Olive are probably my two favourite colours together. I always seem to use them if flowers are involved. I am really liking the clear mount stamp sets, I like not having to use the stamp-a-ma-jig every time to get my image straight. I am a little bit of a perfectionist!

More Potty Charts!

Craig completed his first Potty Chart and can now successfully pee on the potty! Yey! He asked me to make him another one so we can work on number 2. I laughed at myself because when I put the number two on the chart it was because it is his second chart, it is a coincidence that it is also for number 2!

Ryan, my little baby decided that he too would like to start potty training. He is 22 months old now and wants to be like his big brother. He has already earned two stars!
