Valentine Love Note

I ordered the Scented Embossing Powder and it smells so good while you use it. The Scented powder is clear so it brings out the color of your paper and gives it a nice glossy look. I find myself doing a lot of heat embossing lately.

Valentines Day Card

I wanted to try out a card using the New Blushing Bride Smootch Spritzer, I found mine to come out a little more red looking. If you want less of a splatter then make sure you hold your spritzer bottle further from your image. I took one of my Stampin' Up! boxes, placed my image in it and then spritz my projects.

Materials used:

Stamps - Candy Conversations. Ink - Real Red. C/S - Real Red, Whisper White ans Pink Pirouette. Punch - Small Heart. Ribbon - 5/8" Real Red Satin. Dies - Fashionable Hearts Embosslit. Accessories - Blushing Bride Smooch Spritzer.

Have a great day!

Dying Paper Daisies

I wanted to demonstrate to my club how they can dye paper daisies to suit the color of your pages. It is quite simple. I used a small Tupperware container and put about 6-8 drops of Pool Party Re-Inker and added a small amount of water. I swooshed it around to mix it and then I dipped my Paper Daisies in making sure the entire daisy got wet and then I placed it on a paper towel to dry. It does not take long to dry, if you are in a hurry you can use your heat gun to speed up the process.

Materials used:

Stamps - Word Play. Ink - StazOn Black, Whisper White Craft ans Pool Party Re-Inker. C/S - Basic Black, Pool Party and Whisper White. Accessories - Pool Party Ribbon, Paper Daisies and Brads

Wedding Card

This card matches my scrapbook pages I posted yesterday. It could make a nice card to give to someone who is getting married or it would be really pretty to use as the invitation. This flower is made slightly smaller than the one on my scrapbook pages, I used 1 1/4" Circle, you could use any size circle although the small you go the harder it would be to fold.

Materials used:

Stamps - Teeny Tiny Wishes. Ink - Stazon Black. C/S - Basic Black and Very Vanilla. DSP - First Edition Specialty. Punches - Large Lace Border Punch, Word Window, Modern Label and 1 1/4" Circle. Accessories - Circle Rhinestone, Heat Tool, Clear Embossing powder, Mat Pack and Paper Piercer.

Vintage Family

Where have I been? Nov 27, really? I guess life just gets so busy, I am a little under the weather so I am just lounging around on the couch and I thought I would take advantage and upload some photos. These are the pages I did for this months scrapbook club.
The stamped images in the corner of each page is done using VersaMark and clear Embossing powder. I wanted the image to be subtle yet pretty.

I love these flowers, one of my fellow demonstartors showed me how to make these. They are made using the 1 3/4" Circle punch.

Materials used:

Stamps - Baroque Motifs and Letter It. Ink - VersaMark and StazOn Black. C/S - Basic Black and Very Vanilla. DSP - First Edition Specialty. Punches - 1 3/4" Circle, Corner and Large Lace Ribbon Border Punch. Accessories - Circle Rhinestones, Heat Tool and Clear Embossing Powder

Christmas!

I have been working on Christmas projects like crazy! I had a couple sales I participated in this month so preparing for them took up a lot of my time. We also had a family vacation to Disney World, we had a blast. Both boys just loved meeting all their favorite characters and going on rides.

I made these Christmas pages for my scrapbook club, it is hard to believe that Christmas is less than a month away. I hardly have any shopping done.
I wanted to leave as much space as possible for pictures since I take so many pictures on Christmas morning. I was not going to get the Holiday Stocking Die and then of course, I saw several projects that made me have to have it!

To make these pages:

Stamps - Delightful Decorations and Dear Santa
Ink - Chocolate Chip, Real Red, More Mustard and Baja Breeze
C/S - Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Garden Green, Whisper White and Crumb Cake
Die - Holiday Stocking, Timeless Type and Stocking Accents
Punches - Ornament, Scallop Trim and Large Tag
Other - Whisper White Ribbon and Silver Stretch Cord

Have a great day!
