Contempo Christmas

I have been working on different Christmas projects every chance I get which there is no where near enough time in a day! This stamp set and DSP are available in the Holiday Promotion Bundles that are offered until December 16th.
I chose to use Very Vanilla, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler card stock since they are in the DSP. I used the Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and More Mustard markers to color in the tree. To finish off the card I used 3/8" Old Olive Taffeta Ribbon.

Watercolored Ornaments!

I got the idea for this card when I was at the fall regionals in Hamilton back in September.
I used Pear Pizzaz and Real Red Card stock. I stamped my ornaments from A Cute Christmas in Staz On Black ink and then water colored the ornaments using the Aqua painter and ink pads. I finished my card off with tying a bow using Real Red Satin ribbon. This is definitely my favorite ribbon for tying this style of bow, it almost always comes out perfect!

Treat Cup Snowman

I wanted to make a Christmas card using the treet cups for a party I did a couple weeks ago and this is what I came up with. I just love the snow-globes. I made a card at a swap last year using water and Dazzling Diamonds and really liked how it turned out so I decided to go with that. One thing to remember is that you want to put very little dazzling diamonds in the water or they will chunk together and take away from the stamped image.

Charlie Brown Christmas Tree

I basically cased this card from my friend Jenn, I changed a few things around to make it my own. This Christmas tree reminds me of a Charlie Brown Christmas tree so that's what I call it. I am so thankful for clear mount stamp sets when it comes to two step stamping. It is so much quicker then using the Stamp-a-ma-jig. I love the Jolly Holiday DSP, I don't buy much DSP but I have bought 3 packs of this one. That is a lot for me, I usually prefer stamping my background or using the embossing folders.

Christmas Wreath

I received a swap that had a wreath made with the 1/2" Circle Punch so I thought I would recreate it my own way. I completed the wreath with the old olive circles and thought it looked top plain so I asked my husband what he thought and he came up with the idea to add the berries! Thanks Jeff! The bow is made from Very Vanilla Taffeta ribbon. I used a stamp from the Heard from the Heart stamp set. The Cherry Cobbler background was run through the Big Shot using the Vintage Wallpaper textured impressions folder. It is funny, I didn't like Cherry Cobbler when it first came out and right now it is one of my favorite colors to use, especially for Christmas.

Season's Season!

This is one of my favorite Christmas stamp sets. I used it for most of my christmas cards last year. For this card I stamped the image on Night of Navy using VersaMark, sprinkled white embossing powder over the image and heated it up. This would definitely be a quick card to make lots of copies to send to your family and friends.

Time to start Christmas Projects!

So now that Halloween is done I am excited to start Christmas projects! I have been busy designing lots of cards for my upcoming events and will start posting them shortly.

I had this partial card sitting on the corner of my desk for 10 months because I couldn't figure out what to do with it. Everything was done except for the centre piece with the rabbit and reindeer. I decided I better start finishing up some half projects that I have lying around, so the last time I cleaned my craft space I filled a shoebox with unfinished projects saying I will finish them. We will see!

Have a great day!
